Believe it or not, Thomas Edison was one of history’s earliest proponents of solar. But in a twist of irony, Edison’s hometown of Milan, Ohio actually prohibits the installation of solar panels. Until we worked with Edison’s descendants to canvas Milan, form a tangible proposal, and—as of June 2022—successfully begin solar installation on Edison's childhood home.
